In the summer of 2022 I had the opportunity to attend Joshua Davis’ Processing workshop at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, CO.
The shapes on the left were fed into a program, placing the shapes randomly on a grid, and maniuplating differnt attributes like scale and rotation. The design in the middle is a comboniation of 5 different renders manually pieced together.
We were also given the opportunity to engrave our designs into wooden blocks.
